The patented hail protection consists of multiple deflector plates made of transparent, impact-resistant plastic that are installed with spacers that are also transparent between the individual solar tubes.

Because the transparent deflector plates are installed in the upper third of the diameter of the tubes, hailstones can no longer get wedged in the spaces and therefore cause the tubes to burst. 

The hail protection is simple to install and can be added to existing systems at any time.

Installation can be done by a specialized company or in self-installation.
