BEMA System 3001

3D engraving, reproduction and copy milling with the System 3001.

Tried and tested all over the world for decades.

Copy milling made easy. For toolmaking, mouldmaking, the jewellery
industry, mints and engraving works, the use of the engraving machine
means a slice of independence. There are practically no limits on
individual creativity. For more than 50 years, the engraving machine has
been constantly improved but we are still supplying spare parts for
machines from the 40s. There can scarcely be any better proof of their
robustness and reliability. The engraving machine's functioning mode is
simple but brilliant at the same time. And, above all, the surface
quality of the tools produced easily outstrips the competition.

Outstanding features of the BEMA System 3001 engraving machine

  • an engraving machine which is easy to operate and handle
  • large reduction range of 1:1.41 to 1:100
  • profile flattening or heightening from 30% to 100>#/li###
  • no relief adjustment because of exact positioning of the pivot on the die surface
  • smooth enlargement
  • 1:1 possible with additional device without anti-clockwise distortion
  • continuous feed
  • feed and speed change possible during finishing process
  • automatic speed regulation of tool and model
  • almost immovable mass because of weight reduction during scanning process, using special aluminium from aeronautical engineering industry
  • precisely-controlled feeler arm through the use of double rollers
  • X/Y axis digital scale for precise adjustment of the reduction range
  • 2 adjusting microscopes for precise setting of milling cutter and callipers

1. The specification

Your model can be made of plaster, steel, bronze or Duroplast. Of course, you can have a model made from wax and then develop a Duroplast model by means of an intermediate mould. The maximal model diameter is 320mm.

2. The tracer pin

The tracer pin scans the model. Since the machine operates without vibrating, even the slightest depressions are picked up.

3. The milling spindle

The milling spindle is firmly connected to the tracer pin and mills precisely what is scanned on the model. There is no need to supervise the complete scanning and milling process. The machine functions totally automatically, round the clock.

4. The stamping die

The punch can be smoothly reduced and engraved in the range between 1:1.41 and 1:100.
